Dear Members,
Bring Your Boat Out to a series of SBYC Fleet events this summer (see calendar for details.)
Destinations will include Atlantic City, Barnegat Light, July 4th Fireworks, the Powerboat Luncheon, Tuckerton SeaPort, Brigantine Cove, and Long Point. Get out on the water with your family and friends. Travel together for fun and safety. Costs are your food and fuel.
For every event we will:
- Have a Captain’s Meeting at 9:30AM in front of “Firefly”, Slip W090.
- Travel as one group to our event.
- Communicate on Channel 72 for all events.
Please make sure you have a full tank of fuel before you start.
Vessel Safety Examinations (VSE) will continue this summer for any boater in our Club who wants one. These exams/inspections cover any boat you use at the Club and provide you with information about required and suggested safety equipment for your boat. If you are not familiar with VSEs, please contact me. This program is jointly sponsored by the Coast Guard Auxiliary and the United States Power Squadrons (USPS) in which we are Certified Examiners.
